Best Egg is dependent on the information provided by the bank after any payment has been submitted. A payment can fail for a few different reasons such as:
- The payment is returned for insufficient funds.
- The account attached does not accept ACH withdrawals.
- The account information entered is incorrect.
- The account attached is blocked by the bank.
Please log in and check your resident portal at https://flexiblerent.bestegg.com. You can update your payment method and/or try to attempt to make another payment. If a payment has been returned, you can certainly re-make it, not including the upfront payment. The upfront payment can only be made once, and it must be initiated before the enrollment window closes on the 3rd of each month at 3:30 PM ET. To make a one-time payment, please log in to your Flexible Rent portal and select “Make a Payment" from the drop-down menu.
