We initiate rent payment to your landlord once you submit your upfront payment. Your landlord will see the payment in your resident account as long as the payment was initiated by the enrollment deadline of the 3rd at 3:30pm ET.
Please note that Best Egg is dependent on the information provided by the bank after any payment has been submitted. If the upfront payment does not settle successfully, your Flexible Rent account will be paused, Best Egg will reverse payment to your community, and you will need to pay your landlord directly for rent.
Best Egg is not responsible for any late fees assessed by your community.
