The lien on your home’s fixtures will be removed after your secured loan is paid in full and at least 10 days have passed since your final payment.
Once these conditions are met:
- We’ll file a termination statement with your county to release the lien.
- The lien will then be removed according to your county’s processing timeline.
Note: The lien must be fully released before you can typically sell, refinance your first mortgage, or obtain new financing on your home.
