You may have received a notice by email or letter from Best Egg describing your right to dispute the validity of your debt and request the name and address of your original creditor (a “debt validation notice”).
Some state’s laws require us to send you a debt validation notice after we first contact you to collect a past due payment, even if it’s just a few days past due.
This does not mean your account was turned over to a collection agency. You do not have to take any action if you do not dispute your Best Egg account, and you do not want us to send you the original creditor’s name and address.
Please refer to your debt validation notice for details about your rights.
