My credit bureau is locked/frozen; how do I unlock it?

To unlock your credit bureau if it is frozen or locked, you’ll need to remove the freeze with Experian and/or TransUnion before resubmitting your application.

Steps:

1. Contact the credit bureau(s) to remove the freeze.
2. Wait about 30 minutes after lifting the freeze.
3. Log back into your Best Egg dashboard and select “Resubmit your application.”

Important: You must complete this within 10 days of your original application date, or you’ll need to start a new one.
