Great question. Auto pay may affect your final payoff payment by adjusting the amount drafted to the remaining balance owed.
This means we will correctly draft your payoff balance from your bank account, not your usual monthly payment amount. You won’t need to cancel your automatic payment or schedule a new payment to pay off your loan.
Your remaining balance may be less than your normal monthly payment amount, but if you want to see what your current balance is, you can log in to the Best Egg Account Portal.
