There are several documents we accept to verify your identity.
State or Federal Identification

- United States Birth Certificate
- Permanent Resident Card (Green Card)
- Certificate of Naturalization
Important Note: Military IDs cannot be used as a form of identification; it is against the law to make a copy of it.
Key Requirements
- To be considered a primary form of identification, the ID must contain a photograph.
- To be considered a government-Issued form of ID, the document must originate from a local, state, or federal agency.
- To be considered valid, the ID must be current, not expired, and not a temporary or paper copy.
Exception: If your green card or Driver’s License/state ID has expired due to renewal processing, an official renewal notice may be accepted with the expired green card or Driver’s License/state ID.
To verify residency, we accept the following:
- United States Passport
- United States Birth Certificate
- Permanent Resident Card (Green Card)
- Certificate of Naturalization
- Consular Report of Birth Abroad
* Expired forms of Identity cannot be used to verify permanent residency.
