Yes, you can sell or refinance your home, but the UCC-1 fixture lien must be satisfied and terminated before or during closing.
To do this:
- The Best Egg Secured Loan must be paid in full—this can be done using proceeds from the sale or refinance if sufficient.
- After your final payment is made and 10 days have passed, we’ll begin the lien termination process.
- The lien release is then processed by your county based on their timeline.
