If you are selling or refinancing your home, first you’ll need to get a payoff quote.
To obtain a payoff quote and ensure the lien can be released at closing:
- You must provide a borrower’s authorization form signed by you so Best Egg can release loan information to your lender. Don’t forget to tell your lender.
- Your lender should email loanservicing@bestegg.com to request a payoff quote.
- Once your final payment is made and 10 days have passed, Best Egg will file a lien termination with your County.
