To complete your Direct Pay setup, you’ll need the account details for each credit card or personal loan you want to pay off. You can enter up to 10 accounts in total.
Log in and go the Direct pay setup screen.
Select “Add Direct Payment” to get started.
Choose Credit Card or Personal Loan.
When selecting Credit Card, confirm if the card is a Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express or an Other Store/Retail card.
If the card has a Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express symbol, select “Yes.”
Enter credit card account number (twice).
Enter card nickname (optional).
Enter the amount to be paid off.
Click “Save payment.”
There will be a summary screen as payments are added.
Continue adding each card or personal loan by selecting “Add Direct Payment” each time and entering whether it is a credit card or personal loan.
If the account is for a store or retail account and the card does NOT have a Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express symbol, then select “No”.
Begin typing the company name and choose the retailer from the list that appears (please note, spelling does matter when entering the retailer’s name).
Enter credit card account number (twice).
Enter card nickname (optional).
Enter the amount to be paid off.
Click “Save payment.”
If the account is a personal loan, select "Personal Loan.”
Start typing your lender’s name, then select it from the dropdown menu.
Enter the loan number (twice).
Enter the name of the person the account belongs to. (please note that you should only be paying off your own accounts in your name).
Enter payment address.
- Some addresses are prefilled if they are in our database; please confirm the address is correct. (this is the address typically located on your billing statement)
- Important: We try to provide the most up-to-date address for most lenders. However, it’s important to confirm that the correct payment address is listed for your lender, as Direct Pay payments will be sent via USPS First Class mail to the address provided.
- You may edit the name and address of the lender as needed.
Enter the amount to be paid off. (consider additional days of interest that will accrue until the check is received by your lender)
Click “Save payment.”
Once you have completed these steps for all the accounts you have elected to pay through Direct Pay, click “I’m Done,” and you will receive a confirmation that your Direct Pay set up is complete. If you need to make any changes before finalizing everything, you can still edit as necessary by selecting the edit icon in the top right-hand corner of your confirmation screen.
