To pay off a personal loan using Direct Pay, follow these steps:
- Log in and go to the Direct pay set up screen.
- Select “Add Direct Payment” to get started.
- Select Personal loan.
- Enter the loan amount to be paid.
- Select your lender’s name from the dropdown menu.
- Enter your loan account number twice to confirm accuracy.
You’ll be prompted to confirm, enter, or edit the lender’s payment address—Spelling must be accurate; this should match what’s listed on your billing statement.
Important:
Best Egg provides the most up-to-date address on file, but it’s your responsibility to verify the payment address is correct. All Direct Pay checks are sent via USPS First Class Mail. Please allow up to 15 calendar days for payments to be received.
Final step:
Once all accounts are entered, click “I’m Done”. You’ll receive a confirmation. You can still edit payment details before submission if needed.
